Education:
- Post-graduate degree in agriculture, agricultural engineering, agricultural economics, business administration, economics , social sciences, international development or a related subject. A first level university degree in combination with relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the advance university degree.
Experience:
- At least 10 years of work experience in the field of agriculture economics, value chain analysis and trainings.
- Previous experience of working with the United Nations or international organizations on relevant subjects will be a strong advantage.
Excellent command on spoken and written English

Institutional Arrangements:
The Agriculture Value Chain Training Consultant will report to the Programme Manager, ABADEI UNDP). The payment will be based on the approval of required deliverables by Programme Manager, ABADEI UNDP) and after verifying the deliverables.
Duration of the Work:
Total number of effective person-days: 14 consecutive days in one month.

Kabul Afghanistan
PRICE PROPOSAL AND SCHEDULE OF PAYMENTS
Applicants are kindly requested to complete and sign and submit all the following documents:
- Most updated P11 for ICs, indicating all experience from similar projects, as well as the contact details (email and telephone number) of the Candidate and at least two (2) professional references.
- Portfolio of previous work that includes brief description, snapshots and links (where applicable) to MIS system developed from similar work experience.
Schedule of Payments
The consultant(s) will be remunerated upon the completion of all deliverables as mentioned payment schedule above.
PRICE PROPOSAL AND SCHEDULE OF PAYMENTS
The financial proposal with request through email from the shortlisting candidates, in accordance with the below:
- Daily Fee – The Consultant shall propose an all-inclusive daily fee for the contract period. The term “all-inclusive” implies that all costs (professional fees and communications) that could be incurred by the consultant in completing the assignment are already factored into the daily fee submitted in the proposal.
- The number of working days for which the daily fee shall be payable under the contract is 14 working days
Evaluation Method and Criteria:
Individual Consultant will be evaluated based on the following methodology:
The award of the contract shall be made to the individual consultant whose offer has been evaluated and determined as:
- Responsive/compliant/acceptable, and
- Having received the highest score out of a pre-determined set of weighted technical and financial criteria specific to the solicitation.
Evaluation criteria
- Technical expertise (required experience and knowledge for assignment) 40 marks
- Relevant regional or country-specific knowledge 10 Marks
- Academic qualifications (relevant academic qualifications in line with the ToR) 20 Marks
- Financial offer – 30 Marks
