The Office of Budget, Performance and Compliance (BPC)/ Bureau of Management (BMS), supports the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in the promotion of its sustainable human development agenda. It achieves this by developing and making fully operational a dynamic and harmonized integrated resource management framework based on comprehensive analysis that enhances UNDP’s financial and administrative performance, as well as facilitates UN reform and coherence.  To these ends, the framework addresses strategically critical financial and administrative resource planning and management issues, including results based budgeting;  the integration of the Programming Arrangements and the Institutional Budget within the context of the integrated budget; enhanced cost classification and cost recovery;  support to UN harmonization; capital budgeting;  Corporate Dashboard and other performance management initiatives.

In this regard, under the direct supervision and guidance of the Finance Specialist, Budget Team BPC, and under the overall leadership of the Manager, Budget Team,  BMS/BPC is seeking for home-based or in-person Budget intern to support researching, analysing, forecasting, and interpreting budgetary, financial and other management information; preparing budgetary and other management reports; and providing advisory services to BPC staff and clients.
